Hiscox, the specialist global re/insurer, has appointed Liz Breeze as Chief Financial Officer for its reinsurance & ILS division.
Breeze has been working with Hiscox Re & ILS as its Interim CFO since June 2018.
Prior to that, she spent four years as Head of Finance for Hiscox’s UK Retail operations, and several years as Hiscox Group Technical Accountant – being part of the team that worked on the initial set-up and structure of the insurer’s ILS business.
This new role marks a return to Bermuda for Liz, who lived on the island between 2006 and 2012 while working for KPMG.
“Liz is a very welcome addition to the Hiscox Re & ILS team,” said Mike Krefta, Chief Executive Officer, Hiscox Re & ILS.
“We are already benefiting from Liz’s knowledge of our business and deep finance expertise, and are delighted that we will continue to do so.”
Commenting on her appointment, Breeze added, “It’s great to be able to bring my knowledge from other parts of the Hiscox Group to our reinsurance and ILS operations.”
