HIVE Underwriters has announced the appointment of David Langran as Class Underwriter, based in London and reporting to Chief Underwriting Officer, Bruce Carman.
This announcement comes at a time when the fast-growing MGA is increasing its strength in the Aviation War classes.
Langran will join HIVE on completion of his contractual obligation with his current employer Inigo, where currently, he serves as the Head of Aviation War.
Prior to joining Inigo in 2022, Langran served as an Aviation War underwriter at Atrium for eight years.
Carman commented on the appointment, “The appointment of David is great news for HIVE. He is a well-respected, leading underwriter who brings with him excellent broker and client relationships further enhancing HIVE’s strong position in the War classes.
