International insurance broker, Howden, has appointed Sarah Neild as Head of UK Cyber Retail, where she will report to David Rees, and be based in London.

howden-group-logoNeild will join Howden in November once her contractual obligations have been fulfilled.

Her appointment reflects Howden’s commitment to continue with investing in its Cyber proposition, building on existing expertise and attracting the best talent in the market.

Neild will bring over 30 years of experience in the cyber market with her towards her new role. She has held senior positions in the Cyber, Media and Technology specialist teams at Marsh, where she currently serves as a Senior Vice President, working across a broad range of sectors including broadcasters and telecommunications companies.

Neild’s appointment is another significant hire for Howden, as the broker recently announced the appointment of Adam Reed, to head the company’s large and complex risk team, which serves major corporates primarily in the FTSE 100/250.
