Howden Re, the reinsurance division of broking group Howden, has appointed Pascal Kahraman as Director within the broking team in Germany, based out of the newly opened Munich office.
Kahraman joins from industry giant, Munich Re, where he has served for over 13 years since joining as a graduate trainee in 2012.
Most recently, at Munich Re, he was a senior treaty underwriter working across numerous regions, including but not limited to Global Clients, the Nordics and Israel.
Besides reinsurance underwriting, Kahraman also developed innovative insurance solutions for the green technology industry and worked as a product manager for a digital underwriting solution.
