Howden Tiger has made two new appointments within its Cyber Reinsurance division, naming Toby Lampier as Executive Director, and Cecilia Assmundson as Divisional Director.
Lampier joins Howden Tiger from Aon, where he spent almost a decade, most recently serving as Head of Broking Strategy & Markets – Cyber Reinsurance.
Before this, he was a Cyber Reinsurance Broker, and a Broker with Aon’s Nordic team before that.
Lampier holds a degree in History from the University of Nottingham.
Meanwhile, Assmundson also joins from Aon, where she served as a Cyber Catastrophe Analyst for two and a half years.
Before this, she worked at Chaucer Syndicates for three and a half years, chiefly serving as a Senior Exposure Analyst.
Assmundson holds a Bachelor of Science – BSc, Geography, from the University of Bristol.
In related news, back in May, Howden Tiger Fac, a broking division of Howden Tiger, appointed Sandy Warne as the head of its Terrorism & Political Violence division.
Elsewhere, during a briefing on reinsurance trends held on June 1st, David Flandro, the Head of Industry Analysis & Strategic Advisory at Howden Tiger, noted early signs of recovery in the market after capacity was largely impaired last year.
