Howden Tiger has appointed Wolfram Schultz as the new Head of Casualty Reinsurance, Continental Europe.

Schultz is scheduled to commence his role on February 1st, with his base of operations situated in Cologne, Germany.

Reporting directly to Massimo Reina, CEO of Howden Tiger International, Schultz is poised to contribute his extensive industry expertise to further develop the client offering regionally and globally, particularly in what has traditionally been an underserved area of broking.

Wolfram Schultz brings a wealth of experience, accumulating over 36 years in the insurance and reinsurance sector. His most recent position as Head Underwriting & Group Protection Casualty and Specialty at AXA GIE in Paris showcased his responsibilities for the analysis, strategy, and optimisation of AXA SA’s global reinsurance business.

Schultz has held key management roles in various international industrial insurance companies, including Gerling Allgemeine Versicherungs AG, Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty SE, and Guy Carpenter, in locations such as Germany, the UK, and South Africa.
