Incline P&C Group, an insurance program market firm, has bolstered its senior leadership team by appointing Scott Galiardo as the Chief Actuary and Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) for Commercial & Specialty Lines and Tony Urban as the Chief Development Officer.
Chris McClellan, President, and Chief Executive Officer, Incline P&C Group, commented, “With Scott’s hiring and Tony’s assumption of the new Chief Development Officer role, we are strengthening Incline P&C’s leadership. I am glad to bring Scott on board and look forward to Tony continuing to guide Incline growth.”
In this new role, Galiardo’s remit will include enhancing and developing the firm’s actuarial function to accelerate the robust growth seen in the past three years. He will also build on the already established foundation of the Specialty book and create other Commercial Insurance opportunities.
Urban will continue as the Chief Underwriting Officer for all Personal Lines along with taking on the new role as the Chief Development Officer for the company. With Incline Americas Insurance Company, he will focus particularly on the firm’s entrance into the E&S market.
Galiardo joins from Sompo International, having most recently served as the Ceded Reinsurance Officer. Previously, he worked within the Fairfax Financial Group of companies including Odyssey Re and Hudson Insurance in various actuarial and ceded reinsurance roles focused on commercial property and casualty business from the reinsurance, insurance and program management perspectives.
