Specialty insurer and reinsurer Inigo has appointed Gary Delaney as Syndicate Manager.
Delaney joins Inigo from property and specialty insurer IQUW, where he most recently served as an Underwriting Support Lead.
Over the course of his tenure at IQUW, and previously at as it was known, Delaney also served as Head of Operations, as well as a Syndicate Manager.
Prior to Arcus 1856 / IQUW, Delaney served as a Class of Business Executive at Lloyd’s of London.
Within this role he oversaw all KPIs monitoring of UK Motor, Overseas Motor, Casualty Treaty and Political Risks, Credit and Financial Guarantee business written within Lloyd’s.
Delaney spent over eight years at Lloyds of London.
Before he joined Lloyds, he served as a Claims Data Analyst at reinsurance giant, Munich Re.
Meanwhile, back in April, it was announced that Inigo had completed its first catastrophe bond deal – a Montoya Re Series 2022-1 transaction, covering earthquake and windstorm risk in the US, Canada, and Japan.
