INSTANDA, a cloud-based digital insurance platform, has appointed former senior Swiss Re executive Trevor Davis to the newly created role of managing director, effective immediately.
Davis was previously Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Swiss Re’s Life and Pensions operation and has over 20 years’ experience in the Life, Pensions and Health sectors.
His appointment marks INSTANDA’s expansion into the life and health market as the insurtech branches out from property and casualty, where it has worked with major insurance carriers and distributors globally.
“INSTANDA enables insurance companies to build and launch digital insurance products rapidly without coding, large upfront investment or extensive build times,” explained Tim Hardcastle, CEO at INSTANDA.
“Trevor’s considerable knowledge and expertise in Life and Health will help us adapt our platform so that we can offer the same agility to Life and Health clients,” he continued. “I am thrilled to welcome him to the team.”

INSTANDA is currently used by 40 insurers around the world and recently announced a new partnership with Hiscox to further its European growth strategy.
