Global brokerage Arthur J. Gallagher has announced the appointment of Stuart Hill, an international mining specialist, as a Director, effective immediately.
The appointment strengthens the firm’s global mining and property capabilities, and Hill will be based in the firm’s London office and will report to Neil Stewart, Managing Director of Global & Corporate.
He brings extensive industry knowledge to the role, and will have a focus on business development, client servicing, account management and placement.
Hill joins from JLT Specialty, a division of global insurance and reinsurance broker JLT Group, where he was partner within its mining practice, after joining the company in 2010.
