The Managing General Agents’ Association (MGAA) has announced the appointment of its new Next Gen Committee Chair: Jack Harding, Senior Underwriter at Miramar Underwriting Limited.
Harding is succeeding Kajal Pankhania, Director at MGA incubator DA Strategy, and will be in charge of leading the Committee in its mission to engage, represent, and support the next generation of professionals in the MGA market.
Pankhania said: “It has been an incredible honour to serve as Chair of the MGAA Next Gen Committee. Over the past 2.5 years, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with some of the brightest and most ambitious young professionals in our market.
“Together, we’ve formed strong foundations for the MGAA Next Gen, a collaborative force, which encourages personal and professional development, innovative thinking and truly meaningful connections. I am really excited and proud to see Jack and the rest of the Committee continue to build on these foundations we constructed together and continue to inspire and empower the next generation of talent in the MGA sector.”
With over five years of experience at Miramar Underwriting Limited as a Senior Underwriter, Harding has demonstrated expertise in insurance operations, underwriting, and managing a diverse portfolio of delegated authorities.
Through his career, the executive has contributed to market projects and initiatives that promote socially conscious and forward-thinking insurance solutions.
Actively involved in the MGAA Next Gen Committee for over three years, Harding is a dedicated member committed to education, networking, and fostering strong insurer partnerships. He ensures the committee remains at the forefront of industry trends, reflecting the cutting edge of the MGA market.
The MGAA Next Gen Committee represents the future of the MGA market by focusing on training, education, networking, and market engagement, the Association explains.
