Maritime risks insurer Falvey Insurance Group has announced the appointment of Jason Olsen to the role of Vice President, Marine Cargo, welcoming him back to the company.
Based out of Seattle, US, and effective February 12, Olsen will focus on a California-based underwriting portfolio. He is rejoining the firm following his most recent role as an Ocean Marine Underwriter at Great American Insurance Group.
Prior to that, he served as Chief Executive Officer at TreeHawk Farms for eight years. He also spent some time at Marsh, where he served as Senior Vice President.
Olsen’s initial tenure with Falveywas from 2014 to 2016. During this time he laid a strong foundation for his underwriting skills, the insurer noted.
