International specialty insurance group Chaucer plc has named Jerome Faure as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Chaucer Syndicates Limited, the firms managing agency and operating company.
Faure has held a number of senior roles at major reinsurance companies around the world, most recently with Endurance in Bermuda.
Faure’s career began with SCOR in Paris and he spent 16 years with the reinsurer resulting in him leading operations at their offices in Tokyo, London and New York.
More recently, Faure held the role of Chief Underwriting Officer for Tokio Millennium Re, Bermuda, as a Partner of ILS Capital Management, Bermuda, and then his most recent industry position as Chief Executive Officer of Global Reinsurance at Endurance Specialty, Bermuda.
