JLT FAC, JLT Re’s facultative reinsurance arm, has announced the appointment of Nikki Melbourne and Joe Vitale as Senior Executives to its London and U.S. teams respectively.
Melbourne joins the firm as Partner. She most recently served as Senior Underwriter at RSA and had previously worked as an underwriter at Allianz and Mapfre Global Risks.
Melbourne will be a Senior Producer for development of UK, European and Latin America regional facultative business.
Joe Vitale joins the New York office as Head of Casualty and will be also be responsible for leading further expansion in the region.
Vitale has over twenty years’ experience in the industry and was most recently at Guy Carpenter as Senior Vice President. Prior to that, he spent time as Senior VP at Benfield, heading up global facultative and casualty facultative business. Joe is expected to join in August
