Global insurance and reinsurance brokerage and advisory, JLT Group, has joined the London Market’s electronic placing platform, Placing Platform Limited, (PPL).
The broker was actively involved in the early developmental stages leading up to the launch of the platform in July 2016, and says it’s “encouraged by the progress being made.”
Following the recent launch of version 2C of PPL, which provides additional functionality, its relevance to JLT has increased, leading the firm to officially join the London Market’s electronic placing platform.
“JLT looks forward to playing its part in the continuing development of the platform, and will add its support to an initiative targeting not only efficiency improvements but also further enhancing the client service provided by the London Market,” said the broker.
