Lockton, an independent insurance broker, has appointed John Hatton as Chief Operating Officer of its Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) branch.
In his new role, Hatton will lead the execution of our specialty and wholesale strategy, driving profitable growth and operational excellence.

Hatton brings over two decades of industry experience to the role. He initially joined Lockton in 2023 as Head of Specialty.
Prior to that, he served as Head of Group Insurance for Mubadala Investment Company, a role he held following his six-year tenure as the company’s Vice President. He also worked for Marsh in Abu Dhabi as Branch Manager for seven years.
