Global speciality insurance and reinsurance group, Chaucer has announced the appointment of Jonathan Ng as a new Class Underwriter in Political Risk, Singapore.
The executive is joining Chaucer from AXA XL, where he specialised in political risk underwriting in Catlin’s Lloyd’s syndicate. During his time at AXA XL he focused primarily on development and commercial banks as core clients.
He has extensive experience in the industry, most notably from his time at Talbot Risk Services Pte Ltd and as chairman of the political risk and credit committee at Lloyd’s Development Group.
Chaucer’s Head of Political Risks and Credit, Deborah Wyatt, emphasised the significance of Ng’s appointment, as it highlights the company’s continued investment in its political risk capabilities.
