Howden Re Fac has expanded its DACH team with the appointment of Enver Karapinar as Head of Facultative DACH and Andreas Fricke as Managing Director, Facultative Reinsurance DACH.
According to Howden, Karapinar brings more than 30 years of experience across underwriting and broking, with deep expertise in facultative reinsurance and a long-standing reputation in the DACH market.
Fricke, meanwhile, has more than 15 years of industry experience, spanning both underwriting and broking.
Howden Re said the appointments, who will be based in Hamburg, support its broader investment in Germany as the hub of its DACH operations, following the senior leadership build-out of the German branch and the continued expansion of local treaty, facultative, analytics, capital and advisory capabilities.
