Zambia-based reinsurer Klapton Reinsurance has announced the appointment of Mukuma Musenge as Chief Technology Officer.
In his new position, Musenge will lead Klapton Re’s technology function, focusing on driving the development of integrated systems and data-led solutions that improve efficiency, enhance customer experience, and support smarter business decision-making.
The executive is a seasoned ICT and digital transformation specialist with a proven track record of designing and delivering scalable technology solutions within the insurance ecosystem.
His career spans primary insurance, reinsurance, brokerage, and broader ICT infrastructure, giving him a deep understanding of both operational realities and technology needs across the sector.
Musenge is the con-founder of Nova Ticketing, a Zambia-based ticketing and event management platform. His career also includes a three-year tenure at Kuala Tech as Chief Executive Officer, as well as close to two years as Information Technology Manager at Klapton Re.
Commenting on his appointment, a Klapton Re spokesperson stated: “He is committed to aligning technology with business objectives, driving sustainable innovation and contributing to the modernisation of insurance in Zambia and the wider region.”
