KRM Reinsurance Brokers Philippines names Atty. Isagani Acosta, Jr. President & CEO

In response to the Philippines’ rapid economic growth and rising demand for innovative insurance solutions, particularly in infrastructure investments and natural disaster risk mitigation, KRM has announced it is bolstering its leadership team.

KRM Reinsurance Brokers Philippines has named Atty. Isagani Acosta, Jr. as its new President and Chief Executive Officer.

Acosta brings over 20 years of experience in insurance and risk management. He has previously served as SVP and Head of Risk Management, Corporate, Commercial, Affinity and Multinational at Marsh Philippines Board of Directors,

He has also served as President of the Association of Insurance Brokers of the Philippines (AIBP).

Jared Uichico has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Hannelli Oasan, Chief Financial Officer (CFO). They have both been tasked with supporting Atty. Acosta in driving company growth.

Uichico is the former Vice President and Head of Partnership Distribution, Corporate Solutions, and Bancassurance Strategy at Manulife Philippines.

Prior to his new appointment, Oasan served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Pacific Cross and Chubb Philippines.

Commenting on his new role, Atty. Acosta stated: “I am eager to lead KRM towards continued growth and success. Together, we will embark on a new journey, working with world-class leaders, a talented team, and valued partners to achieve our shared goals.”

These strategic moves aim to cement KRM’s position as a leader in the insurance industry while driving its next phase of growth.

The appointments come as KRM Reinsurance Brokers Philippines receives recognition as a leading reinsurance broker in the Philippines based on commission earned as of December 31, 2023.

“KRM stands out as the only reinsurance broker in the country to surpass PHP 100 million in commission revenue, a milestone never achieved in the industry. Additionally, KRM was one of only three reinsurance brokers to produce over PHP 1 billion in premiums, further solidifying its leadership in the sector,” a KRM spokesperson stated.
