Lancashire appoints two to replace Sylvain Perrier

Lancashire Holdings Limited has announced the appointment of James Irvine as the Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) for Lancashire Insurance Company Limited in Bermuda, effective October 1st, 2018.

Lancashire logoAt the same time, the firm has announced that Ben Readdy has been appointed as Group Chief Actuary for Lancashire Holdings Limited, effective January 1st, 2019.

Both Irvine and Readdy replace Sylvain Perrier, who has been CUO of Lancashire Insurance Company Limited in Bermuda since 2013, and Group Chief Actuary of Lancashire Holdings Limited since 2006.

Perrier has been with the firm since its inception, and following the departure as Group Chief Actuary, will continue to work for the group in a strategic consultancy role.

Irvine joined the firm in 2010, and is currently Deputy CUO in Bermuda for Lancashire Insurance Company Limited. In his new role, he will report to Lancashire Holdings CUO, Paul Gregory.

Readdy also joined the firm in 2010, and is currently Deputy Group Chief Actuary.

Gregory, commented on the appointments: “I would like to congratulate James and Ben on their well-deserved promotions.
