Laurence Liao resigns from Sirius’ board

Laurence Liao has resigned from global re/insurance group Sirius International’s Board of Directors and his role as Chair of its Finance Committee.

Sirius_logga_Group_flatSirius has stated that Liao made the decision to leave in order to focus on his role at CMIG International Holding.

CMIG International is a subsidiary of China Minsheng Investment Group Corp., Ltd and the parent company of Sirius International.

Subsequently, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Risk Officer of CMIG International Raymond Tan has been appointed to Sirius’ board and to the Finance Committee as Chair.

Tan, who has served on the Board as CM Bermuda Ltd.’s alternate director, was recommended for appointment to the Board by CMIG International.

Tan will not receive remuneration from the company for his services as a Director.
