The Lebanese Credit Insurer (LCI) recently announced the appointment of Dominque Charpentier as its new Chairman, at its 2017 Annual General Meeting (AGM).
LCI was established in 2001 as a joint venture between Atradius and a group of local and regional insurers and private holding companies, as the first independent specialized credit insurance company in Lebanon and the Middle East.
Charpentier has extensive industry knowledge and experience in finance and credit insurance, and has held executive positions at of SCOA and PINAULT Groups, and Société Marseillaise de Crédit. He has also held senior leadership positions at Euler Group, Société Française de Factoring and Eurofactor.
Before moving to Atradius Group in 2002 as Managing Director of Atradius Factoring, Atradius Bonding, Atradius Instalment Credit Protection and Atradius Credit Insurance Italy. He later joined the the Management Board of Atradius as Chief Insurance Operations Officer.
He retired in January 2017, and now serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Graydon Holding NV in the Netherlands, and has now been named the new Chairman of LCI.
