Life insurer Legal & General America has appointed Dawn Boitnott as Chief Underwriter & Underwriting Transformation Officer.
Boitnott will be leading LGA’s strategic underwriting by managing its guidelines and policy, including managing the evaluation of emerging underwriting tools and data.
She reports to Troy Thompson, senior vice president and chief actuary.
Boitnott comes to LGA with over 20 years of underwriting experience and most recently was the vice president of underwriting at SCOR Global Life Americas for its automated underwriting rules engine.
Commenting on her appointment, Boitnott said, “I am thrilled to be a part of LGA and to have the opportunity to advance the company’s priority of delivering solutions that customers need.
