LexisNexis Risk Solutions names James Burton Insurance Managing Director

LexisNexis Risk Solutions, a data, advanced analytics and technology provider to the UK insurance market, has announced the appointment of James Burton as Managing Director, Insurance, UK and Ireland.

He replaces Jeffrey Skelton who will take up a new role to lead ICIS, a brand of LexisNexis Risk Solutions, part of RELX.

Burton has close to 20 years of industry experience, seven of them spent with LexisNexis Risk Solutions, being responsible for the management and execution of the product strategy across the business.

Prior to his appointment, he served as vice president of product management, insurance, UK and Ireland.

Before joining the company, Burton worked in a number of product and analytical roles across loyalty, credit risk and debt management for organisations such as Ikano Bank and Equifax after spending a number of years as a Government Bond trader.
