Liberty Mutual Insurance has appointed Maria Grace as its global product leader for property.

She will be responsible for the profit and loss of property across the global commercial and specialty (re)insurer. She will set global product strategy, monitor the overall performance of the portfolio and partner with the chief underwriting officer supporting each GRS business unit.

Moore said: “Maria’s appointment completes the global product leader team within the office of underwriting, which also includes global product leader for casualty Noel MacCarthy and global product leader for financial lines Tom Leahy. This team joins with other dedicated underwriting professionals to add value to brokers, partners, and clients by bringing our global expertise and resources to help better manage complex and emerging risks.”

Before joining GRS, Grace served as global chief underwriting officer, property, and head of international property at the Everest Re Group.
