Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM) has a new head of aviation claims in Peng Lim.
Lim is currently international law firm Kennedys’ Singapore-based global head of aviation, but will relocate to London reporting to Mike Gillett, chief claims officer at LSM. She takes up her new role in November.
Chief among Lim’s responsibilities will be leading LSM’s claims proposition for Aviation and supporting the growth of the insurer’s Aviation book.
Gillett said: “We are delighted that Peng is joining Liberty. She’s been a leading partner at Kennedys for many years and will relocate to London to join us. As an extremely high-profile figure within our industry, she brings unrivalled knowledge of the sector – knowledge that will benefit our clients not only at the point of claim but throughout their relationship with LSM.”
Lim joined Kennedys in 2014 to become the firm’s Global Head of Aviation. She was formerly with another major international law firm, Clyde & Co.
