Liberty Specialty Markets, a division of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has announced the promotion of Nicholas Garside to Head of Bermuda Property, effective September 1.
Garside, who holds over 15 years’ experience in the insurance space, joined Ironshore Bermuda as Senior Vice President in 2018 prior to its LSM rebrand.
Before that, he worked for Novae Bermuda as Deputy Head of Direct and Facultative Property. He also brokered property risks for Willis in London, Sydney and Bermuda.
Garside reports to Steve Horton, President, Liberty Specialty Markets Bermuda.
“Nick is an exceptionally capable executive who’s amassed considerable experience in both the Bermudian and international property markets,” said Steve Horton.
“His skills and in-depth knowledge will be of tremendous value.”
