Lloyd’s broker Ramon International has appointed Lee Ellis to the role of Chief Strategy Officer, effective immediately.
Ellis, who also serves as a board member of Ramon International, will also assume board roles across the international operations and the appointed representative businesses under the Ramon banner.
An established figure across the industry, Ellis has over 25 years of experience in the London and International insurance markets. He joined Ramon in May 2021, after holding leadership roles in multiple Lloyd’s brokers, including CEO roles at RFIB and Guy Carpenter.
Ellis, commented: “In the past 18 months we’ve acquired, established, and partnered to create a truly international business. Critical to our future success will be developing cohesive strategies that align our operations.
“In a very short time, we have gone from being a single office London broker to a diversified international group. Our expansion has materially changed our identity and the opportunities open to us.”
