Lloyd’s Market Association names five new Board members

The Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) has confirmed the five successful candidates for its Board membership, which includes Paul Jardine, Catlin Underwriting Agencies’ Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

As of the May 17th, 2017 AGM the five Board members will include, Neil Maidment, Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) at Beazley Furlonge, Matthew Wilson, CEO of Brit Syndicates, Tom Clementi, CEO at MS Amlin Underwriting, and Julian Tighe, Asta Managing Agency CEO, and the aforementioned Paul Jardine.

Neil Maidment will continue in his role of heading up the Board as LMA Chairman.

David Gittings, the LMA’s CEO, said; “The high standard of leading market figures putting themselves forward has enabled us to assemble an impressive Board, whose combined knowledge and experience is an invaluable asset to the LMA.

“Our Board is highly influential in the Lloyd’s market, offering a broad range of expertise, and representing almost 60% (over £17bn) of overall market capacity.”

Each of the five Board members’ tenure is set for three years.
