The specialist Lloyd’s of London insurance and reinsurance marketplace has named Dawnmarie Black, who joins from London broker BMS Group, as U.S. Northeast Regional Director.
Based in the Boston area, Black will assume responsibility for market development activities in a 12 state region stretching from Maryland to Maine, and Washington D.C.
Lloyd’s stakeholders in this region include retail, wholesale, and reinsurance brokers, program managers, managing general agents, risk managers, and the organizations that support them.

She knows the London and US markets well, from both distribution and underwriting perspectives, and her experience will prove invaluable to our local distribution partners.”
An accomplished broker and underwriter with over 20 years experience, Black joins from a role as a Senior Vice President on the BMS Group Risk Solutions team. She also boasts having served in senior roles with Ascot, Aon Benfield, AIG, and Chubb.
