Loadsure, a provider of data-driven freight insurance solutions, has added a War & SRCC (Strikes, Riots, and Civil Commotion) cargo cover option to its per-shipment product range.

Introduced in early April, the cover is available to brokers, shippers, and freight forwarders seeking protection against risks linked to instability and disruption.

The product is designed to address exposures that are often not included in standard cargo insurance policies, with limits of up to $20 million for air and ocean shipments and up to $2.5 million for war-related risks on land. It is structured to support the assessment and pricing of these risks within a single solution.

An automated workflow enables users to generate quotes and arrange cover for one or multiple shipments within a short timeframe. This approach may be particularly relevant for operations in regions where conditions can change quickly.

“The global supply chain is facing unprecedented pressure from geopolitical shifts,” commented Johnny McCord, Loadsure CEO and Founder.

“Our mission has always been to meet the industry where it is, providing the agility and data-driven insights needed to manage risk in real-time. This new coverage isn’t just a product; it’s a commitment to ensuring our partners can move goods confidently, no matter how the global landscape evolves.”

“By bringing War and SRCC coverage into our on-demand product suite, we are removing the friction for insurance brokers in the procurement process and delivering the high-limit protection our European and global clients require to keep trade moving safely,” added Ben Brough, Loadsure’s Director of Europe.
