Lockton partners with Benefex to utilise HR tech platform OneHub

12th June 2019 - Author: Matt Sheehan

Re/insurance broker Lockton has announced a new partnership with Benefex, the company behind HR platform OneHub, that will allow it to make the technology available to its clients globally.

handshakeOneHub delivers employee benefits schemes via a consumer-led online system, allowing for more streamlined interactions between employees and employers.

“The scalability of OneHub makes Benefex a perfect partner for Lockton, says Jon Green, Regional Head of Benefits UK & Europe. “Our client portfolio is diverse, and so the flexibility of the platform will be hugely beneficial in catering to all of our clients’ technological needs.”

“Human resources departments everywhere are under increasing pressure to develop global employee benefits strategies and deliver them in an engaging, dynamic way,” Green continued.

“We firmly believe that our knowledge of local needs and global buying power, combined with the robust and intuitive technology of OneHub will deliver an exciting and durable solution to both Lockton and Benefex’s clients.

Matt Macri-Waller, Founder and CEO of Benefex, also commented: “We are thrilled to build on our international offering with Lockton. They are a universally trusted source for global employee benefits brokerage and consulting, and we look forward to working with them to deliver the best possible service for our customers.

“Lockton’s experience in international markets combined with OneHub’s agility means that our mutual customers will have a robust multi-national offering, centrally operated, but mindful of regional laws and needs,” he added.

“Benefex’s existing clients will be able to quickly and confidently expand their offering into any of their other regions, backed up with scalable technology and trusted overseas brokers.”

Benefex noted that the partnership represents a further development in its global expansion goals since receiving investment from Bain Capital in 2018.
