Reinsurance broker Lockton Re has hired Sarah Willmont as a Senior Broker, working within the firm’s Retrocession and Property Specialty unit as well as supporting the London Market and Global production activity.
Willmont will be based in London and joins the broker in October 2023.
She brings more than two decades of experience trading with the London Market to Lockton Re.
Willmont began her career as a broker at Benfield, which later evolved into Aon Benfield. In 2014, she moved into underwriting with specialty re/insurer Canopius, assuming numerous senior roles, including as an active underwriter and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Canopius UK.
