Independent insurance broker Lockton has strengthened its Sweden business with the appointment of Johanna Nordkvist as Senior Vice President and Head of Casualty, and Anna Marchow as Vice President, Senior Client Advisor.
Joining from Marsh, Nordkvist and Marchow bring extensive experience advising large corporate clients in complex, multi-jurisdictional environments.
With over two decades in Casualty and client implementation roles, Nordkvist’s background includes senior positions at JLT and AIG.
Marchow has spent the last decade coordinating complex insurance programmes and advising multinational organisations across international markets.
Johan Lindvall, CEO of Lockton Sweden, said: “Johanna and Anna’s appointments reflect Lockton’s market-leading proposition and our ability to attract exceptional talent as we expand our presence across Sweden and the Nordic region.
“Their arrival follows a year in which we doubled the size of our business, driven by our independence, client-first approach, and ability to deliver tailored solutions for clients.”
Both will be based in Lockton’s Stockholm office, working closely with colleagues across Casualty, Complex Property, Affinity, and Real Estate in Sweden, London and the US.
Commenting on her new appointment, Nordkvist said: “Lockton’s independent ownership, entrepreneurial culture and strong client focus made it a compelling choice.
“Its ambitious growth plans present an exciting opportunity to strengthen our offering to large multinational companies and help clients navigate an increasingly complex and risky cross-border landscape.”
Marchow added: “Lockton has the Swedish entrepreneurial spirit, making it an exciting market for international risk advisory. Like Lockton, I take a client-first approach and am committed to building long-term relationships that deliver tangible value for our clients.”
Their appointments come as the company accelerates growth across Sweden and the wider Nordic region. This growing presence reflects a broader strategy to meet rising demand for independent client services while strengthening its position across key lines.
The appointments of Nordkvist and Marchow also follow a series of strategic hires over the past year in the Nordic region, including Johan Lindvall as CEO, Patrick Rönnqvist as Head of Affinity, and Magnus Sjöstrand as Head of Complex Property.
