Aon plc has announced that Maria Johannessen is joining the firm as a senior partner and Investment client leader, and Investment leader for the London region.
She joins the leading global professional services firm from Mercer, where she was a partner working with investment advisory and fiduciary clients as well as large corporate clients.
Prior to Mercer, Johannessen spent six years serving as a corporate strategy adviser at PwC.
She also previously served at BlackRock Asset Management, where she held the role of Director, Risk & Quantitative Analysis for just over two years. Also, prior to that, she spent over two years at UBS Investment Bank, where she served as Director, Valuations Control.
Over the course of her career, Johannessen has advised a wide range of clients, ranging from family-owned businesses to major multinational clients, in addition to non-pension fund asset owners such as trust-based organisations.
