RT Specialty, the wholesale distribution division of Ryan Specialty, has promoted Marissa Moscowitz to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Overall, Moscowitz brings over 15 years of industry expertise towards her new role.
She has been with RT Specialty since 2019.
Throughout her time working at the firm, Moscowitz has been instrumental in acquisition integration as well as strategic planning and execution, RT Specialty noted.
In her new role as COO, she is expected to drive RT Specialty’s commitment to automation and process improvement.
Additionally, she is also absorbing the business training teams and RT Connector (RT’s proprietary digital E&S marketplace) support teams.
Addressing Moscowitz’ promotion, Ed McCormack, President of RT Specialty, said: “We are thrilled to have Marissa officially join our executive team as RT’s COO. Her time at Ryan Specialty and RT have shown that she’s a difference maker, collaborator and leader.”

In February, RT Specialty added Cyber Liability to its proprietary digital platform, RT Connector.
According to the firm, the digital platform allows retail insurance agents to efficiently access multiple lines of coverage from a variety of carriers for their excess and surplus (E&S) small commercial business.
