JLT Specialty USA, a subsidiary of insurance and reinsurance broker JLT Group, has announced the appointment of Mark Purdy as Senior Vice President (SVP), joining from Aon.
Purdy will be based in the firm’s Houston office, with a focus on assisting JLT clients with the improvement of their claims platform while boosting productivity and lowering costs in relation to Workers’ Compensation, Auto and General Liability exposures.

Purdy brings more than 25 years of corporate claims, risk management and consulting experience to the new role, and joins the firm from brokerage Aon. He spent 14 years at Aon as an Assistant Director and Consulting Lead.
Prior to Aon, Purdy spent time as a Claim Team Manager at Liberty Mutual Insurance, and also worked as the Risk Manager at Grocers Supply Co.
