Marsh hires new US Cyber Incident Management Leader

Global insurance and reinsurance broker, Marsh, has announced the appointment of Katherine Keefe as US Cyber Incident Management Leader.

marsh-logoIn this newly created role, Keefe will be responsible for leading the broker’s efforts to assist clients responding to and managing cyber events, including data breaches and ransomware attacks, whilst giving advice on pre and post cyber incident management.

She will also oversee the firm’s relationships with the broader cyber incident management marketplace, including breach coaches, forensic investigators, and cyber insurers.

Keefe will be based in Philadelphia, and will report to Tom Reagan, US Cyber Practice Leader.

She will be joining Marsh from specialist re/insurer Beazley, where she served as Head of Breach Response Services for the last eight years. Prior to her career in the insurance space, she was a lawyer specialising in all aspects of health care law, including health care data privacy and security.
