Global re/insurance broker Marsh has announced two senior leadership appointments within its Marsh Captive Solutions business.
Julie Boucher takes direct leadership of the company’s Bermuda, Cayman, and Barbados captive offices as Islands Practice Leader, a newly-created role effective January 1, 2019.
Boucher, who has been with Marsh for 30 years, will relocate to Bermuda from Vermont.
Additionally, Chris Varin will assume oversight of Marsh’s U.S captive management offices as U.S Practice Leader, a newly-created role effective January 1, 2019
Also a long-serving Marsh employee, Varin holds over 28 years of experience at the firm having served in a variety of roles that have included responsibilities across operations, technology, and strategy. Varin will remain located in Burlington, Vermont.
Both Boucher and Varin will report to Ellen Charnley, President, Marsh Captive Solutions.
