Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), the US middle market subsidiary of global insurance broker Marsh, has announced the acquisition of Steinberg & Associates, Inc., an independent agency based in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Steinberg & Associates was founded in 1969, offering employee health and benefits, estate planning, and private client services to midsize businesses and individuals throughout South and North Carolina and Georgia.
Hank Steinberg, President of Steinberg & Associates, is set to join MMA along with his employees.

The acquisition comes at a time of continued expansion for MMA, having acquired CS Insurance Strategies and Clark Insurance earlier this year.
