Global insurance broker and risk advisor Marsh has announced the appointment of Siân French as Global Head of Coverage for Global Placement.
Effective January 1, 2023, she will take up the new position, working closely with insurance partners to negotiate and provide consistent coverage and claims outcomes for clients.
French has worked at Marsh for the previous 13 years, most recently as Client and Market Projects Leader for the UK and Ireland, based in London.
Past roles also include as: Managing Director; Senior Vice President, Placement UK & Ireland; Senior Vice President, FINPRO; and as FINPRO Claims Advocate.
Prior to Marsh, French has a legal background, having begun her career in 1998 at CMS in insurance and reinsurance litigation.
She then held various roles in this field over next decade, including at Edwin Coe, HFW and Reed Smith.
