VIPR Solutions (VIPR) has announced the appointment of Martin Blackburn as its Chairman.
Blackburn, renowned for his strategic acumen and transformative leadership, brings with him a wealth of experience gained over a distinguished 25-year career.
Blackburn’s professional journey began in the engineering realm with Marconi, a British Engineering and Telecoms company.
His expertise was instrumental in propelling Logica into a substantial organisation, where he oversaw its expansion across diverse global markets.
Blackburn’s tenure witnessed a remarkable fifteenfold increase in the workforce, spanning regions including the UK, Netherlands, Germany, India, France, Africa, and the United States.
Subsequently, Blackburn assumed pivotal roles at EDS, an outsourcing powerhouse later acquired by Hewlett Packard, and at IBM, where he led the Global Technology business in Europe before venturing into the Private Equity domain.
His multifaceted career has encompassed multiple board positions, with notable contributions to firms such as Rackspace Technology and Sales-i, a SaaS software firm.
As the Chairman of VIPR, Blackburn expressed his enthusiasm for the role, stating, “It’s the perfect timing for me to team up with VIPR as their Chairman.
