JLT Re, the reinsurance arm of global broker JLT Group, has named Martin Blackwell as a Partner, Capital Solutions, effective October, 2018.
He brings more than 40 years of market experience to the role, and was Head of Client Management at Capita, having most recently served as a senior consultant at Aon Benfield.
JLT Re’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of UK & Europe, Bradley Maltese, said: “We are delighted Martin is joining our growing team with capability in structured reinsurance and Lloyd’s/MGA Capital. His expertise and market reputation will bring an invaluable insight to our clients.”
In his new role, Blackwell will support JLT Re’s expanding Capital Solutions capabilities, says the broker.
