Insurance and reinsurance broker McGill and Partners has announced the appointment of Cabot Lyman as Partner in its US Property team.
“The addition of Cabot to the team strengthens our highly differentiated value proposition that enables us to deliver market-leading global placement expertise and capabilities for both our clients and distribution partners,” a spokesperson stated.
Lyman Brings over 10 years of industry experience to her new role, joining McGill and Partners from Aon, where she spent 11 years in their New York Property team.
Most recently, she was a Team Leader and Senior Vice President placing global property programmes in challenging industries such as manufacturing, logistics, retail, financial institutions, real estate, and hospitality.
Before Aon, Lyman served for over two years at CNBC in London. She has also been awarded multiple Power Broker Awards by Risk & Insurance.
Lyman commented: “I joined McGill and Partners to create bespoke solutions for my clients by utilising global industry-leading talent and technology.”
The addition of Lyman to McGill and Partners is one of the company’s most recent appointments. it follows the hire of Amy Kimber, who is now Partner in the firm’s Marine and Cargo team, and George Guy, who is now Partner within the firm’s Complex Property, Casualty and Construction team.
