McGill and Partners hires Miller’s du Preez as Head of Emerging Technology

McGill and Partners, an independent global specialty insurance and reinsurance broker, has announced the appointment of Andre du Preez as Head of Emerging Technology.

McGill and partnersdu Preez’s new position will focus on advancing the company’s digital-first strategy, driving innovation by utilising advanced technologies and nurturing a creative environment.

He has proven experience of developing and rolling out machine learning applications, which will further enhance McGill and Partners’ proposition for its clients.

Prior to joining McGill and Partners du Preez served at Miller, where he was Head of Innovation and led the development and adoption of cutting-edge technological solutions, with a strong focus on artificial intelligence.

Before this, he held roles developing digital products at Miller and also Vitality. Through his career du Preez has also worked in business consultancy in both London and Johannesburg.
