Specialist MGA Aqueous Underwriting has expanded its underwriting team with the addition of three new hires.
Senior Underwriter Louise Redmond and Underwriter Debbie Farman join the MGA’s PI team, whilst Trading Underwriter Liam Wilson joins its e-trade team specialising in SME Package business.
Redmond has over 20 years’ market experience and joins Aqueous from BC Underwriting where she was senior PI underwriter.
Previously she has held underwriting roles at AXA, QBE Europe and AIG Europe.
Farman also joins the PI team at Aqueous, from Square Mile Underwriting, while Wilson joins the MGA’s e-trade team from Thistle Underwriting, having previously worked at QBE Europe and Ageas.
“We have made a strong and positive start to 2022 both in terms of our financial and underwriting capability,” said Aqueous CEO Danny French.
“All three of the underwriters we are bringing in are experienced exponents in their fields and I’m pleased to be able to add strength and depth to our underwriting teams,” he continued.
“Aqueous is an ambitious and growing MGA. We made some big steps last year and it’s encouraging for me and the senior team that we’ve started 2022 in a similar fashion; We expect to add to the team again in the coming weeks.”
Aqueous currently writes PI for a range of trades and professions whilst its SME package business covers Material Damage, Business Interruption, Employers’ & Public Liability cover.
