Miller appoints Claire Connolly as Head of M&A

Independent specialist re/insurance broker Miller, has appointed Claire Connolly as Head of M&A, to support the firm’s continued growth ambitions.

MillerWithin this role, she will report to Ben Speers – Chief Corporate & Legal Affairs Officer.

Connolly brings significant experience in M&A, corporate development, and finance in the insurance industry, towards her new role.

Previously she has served in various senior M&A roles including at Jensten Group, Aston Lark and Gallagher where she managed the execution of M&A transactions in multiple regions and supported the development of M&A strategy.

Miller noted that Connolly’s appointment is part of the company’s continued investment in growth, as well as its objective to expand its footprint through both strategic M&A and organic growth, which will allow the firm to bring its sector specialisms to a greater number of clients.

In addition, Connolly’s appointment follows from Miller’s acquisitions last year of Henner Sports in France (now Miller Sports & Entertainment, Paris) and Japanese Broker Lead Insurance Services.
