Miller enhances reinsurance offering with addition of James Power

25th March 2021 - Author: Luke Gallin

Specialist insurance and reinsurance brokerage, Miller, has bolstered its exposure analytics and deal structuring offering for reinsurance clients with the addition of James Power as Exposure Analytics Lead.

MillerPower has more than a decade of experience working in the London market, most recently with Apollo Syndicate Management Limited.

In his new role, he will report to Mark Zammit, Head of Analytics and will work with reinsurance colleagues across the broker’s London and Bermuda offices.

Zammit commented: “At Miller, we recognise the importance of providing valuable insights to our clients, which is why investment in data and analytics is key to our long-term growth strategy within the reinsurance space.

“James’ hiring is part of our team’s ongoing commitment to providing tailored, best-in-class service and solutions for clients. His experience, particularly in exposure management, demonstrates Miller’s commitment to be able to respond quickly and effectively to our clients’ needs, and we’re excited that he has joined us.”

The appointment of Power signals the latest investment by the firm in the reinsurance space, and comes soon after the hiring of Charlie Simpson from Aon to lead its new broking platform in Bermuda.
