Miller expands entertainment offering with new music team

Miller Insurance Services, a London wholesale and specialist re/insurance broker, has expanded its entertainment offering with the addition of four new specialists in music insurance.

music-&-entertainment-insuranceThe music team is led by Martin Goebbels and consists of Holly Leary, Pamela Choat, and Rose Burgess.

The group have worked together for many years and have extensive experience in the music and entertainment insurance industry, having worked with artists on major global tours, as well as helping management companies, festivals, concert promoters and booking agents.

Goebbels alone has 40 years’ experience in this class of business and joins Miller from Integro, where he was Director for UK and Europe. He previously worked for Robertson Taylor, which was acquired by Integro in 2015.

In his new role, he will report to James Hands, Head of Miller’s Accident & Health business, who commented: “We are really pleased that Martin, Holly, Rose and Pam are now on board.”

“Bringing a team of this calibre to Miller can only be of great benefit to our clients,” he continued. “Their knowledge of the music industry and insurance market will enable us to hit all the right notes with our offering to parties in the music and entertainment sector.”

Leary started her insurance career in 2005 and began specialising in the music industry while at Albemarle, later moving to Robertson Taylor and Integro. At Miller, she will be working as an account handler and broker.

Meanwhile, Choat began her career at Robertson Taylor almost 30 years ago, before moving on to Stafford Knight, Windsor’s, Apex and most recently back to Robertson Taylor/Integro.

Finally, Burgess started her career in 1990 alongside Martin at Robertson Taylor and Integro. At Miller, she will be working as a technician.
